SUMMER ACTIVITIES @ CANYON!

Canyon staff offer guided hourly trail rides (by reservation) from May through October.

Children's Day Camp: Canyon offers week long day camps for children between the ages of 8 - 14 years. The camp provides children with a chance to experience wilderness atmosphere and activities (horseback riding, games, canoeing, hiking, orienteering, and lots of fun!) within the convenience and economy of a day camp.

Participants will be transported to and from Red Deer (Sears parking lot) on a daily basis for a five day mid-week program.

One of the highlights during the week is the camp out on Thursday night! Campers stay over in Canyon's large day lodge. There is a campfire, hot dogs, Some-Mores, games, skits, and lots of giggles!

There will be six weekly camps offered throughout July and August. All activities are supervised.

The camps are designed to be a healthy exciting experience which will develop the campers' individual skills and encourage their involvement within a group atmosphere. Parents are welcome to drop in for a visit at any time.

A parent or guardian MUST sign Canyon?s Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement by for any minor riding on Canyon's horses. This must be done before getting on a horse.
